A400M Airlifter

The A400M Airlifter is the future of aerial heavy lift operations in Europe. Developed by European Aerospace companies headed up by Airbus Military, the A400M has been designed to

meet new airlift requirements that are more

geared towards logistical, peace-keeping

and humanitarian relief.

For FSX & FS2004

FSX &

FS2004

This highly detailed replica of the Airbus A400M release features 12 detailed liveries, a highly detailed 2D instrument panel, pop-up instrument panels, an interactive and fully clickable 3D Virtual Cockpit, a detailed printed Pilot's Guide, outstandingly detailed 3D Cabin. Frame rate performance has been optimised with the inclusion of different aircraft variants (with/without interior, cockpit and virtual cabin) to allow for different computer performance levels.

The A400M has been built to the specifications of the Belgium, French, German, Luxembourg, Royal Air Force and Turkish Air Forces and is due to go into service with several other air forces.

The A400M combines high cruise speed with fast transit times as well as good short and soft field performance. Equipped with four high-speed turboprop engines, it features a cargo capacity of 37 tons that can be carried over 3,550nm at a maximum cruise speed of mach 0.72. The A400M design allows the aircraft to operate in areas with minimal infrastructure and on short/unpaved runways. 180 A400M have already been ordered.
