If you have ever wanted to drive a steam engine, Train Driver is for you. Train Driver allows you to experience the bygone era and romance of the small branch railway lines that used to be such a common sight around the UK. Being completely standalone, and therefore requiring no host simulation to operate, Train Driver re-creates in high quality and detail the current day historic West Somerset Railway route, engines and rolling stock.

From driving a commuter DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit), through hauling freight with the Hymek Diesel locomotive, to the excitement and skill of driving a Manor Class Steam engine, you will be enchanted by the countryside views in this classic Somerset setting. Owners of Trainz Railway Simulator Passenger Edition can also employ Rail Driver to add the West Somerset Railway software to that simulation.
