Flight Simulation Shows 2008
Sherburn Aero Club Flight Simulation Show 2008
We are making plans to stage a Flight Simulator show on the 6th of September, we are aiming to make it bigger and better than the one we staged in 2006. The show will be held in the clubs number 3 hangar which will give us scope to have more exhibitors and will give the show that extra special feel firstly because it is at a real world airfield and secondly because it is in a real aircraft hanger!
The show is now very close and for anyone who has even a slight interest in aviation whether that be the real world or the virtual, this years event promises to be something very special. Over the past few weeks John Crossland and myself along with numerous others have being working really hard to bring together a show never before seen in this country.
The feedback we have received has been fantastic and would like to thank each and everyone who has helped in the preparation for the show.
So what can you expect to see on the day?
Some of the top names from around the scene with Just Flight, RC Simulations, Alpine Systems. Cockpitsonics, UK2000, the Dreamflyer, Shaker Centre, IVAO, Group Systems, Hields Aviation, 747 Simulator, Flightstore, Airwego, FLY UK, G4me5, plus much more on the day!
We will for the first time be offering tours of the airfield, this is something that has been specially arranged with Sherburn and is a must for anyone who would like to go behind the scenes and see how a real working airfield operates. The tour will include views of the fantastic aerobatic aircraft, maintenance and the control tower!
A BIG raffle is also available with stunning prizes up for grabs, including a flight in a helicopter R44 for three people, with another being a trip in a PA28!
Along with software, books, and who knows what else!
